Indeed, even mobile cameras will "help" you take sharp pictures. Why even bother posting crap "for now"?

        Hi,

pictures hosted on third party websites are forbidden on the WAF as anyone can now upload freely up to 10 pictures per post.

If your pictures are too big, you need to downsize them before uploading them on the WAF server.

I will not reupload your pictures as I usually do because those pictures are of abyssal quality, and should be alone be removed from the WAF.

Please upload GOOD pictures directly on the WAF server as it is now free for every member (up to 10 pictures per post).

        See You

        Vince

It is not posible to proof orginality without detailed pics.
Most important is weave material and pics of interior pants lining (same material was often used in regular SS uniforms)
P.S Of course it is proper part of the forum.

The general cut of the uniform appears to be correct, but as stated better pics will be the determination.

Here is one similar, the cut of the collar stands out as similar to me.

I posted it many times .
This uniform belonged to prisoner who was in Auschwitz, later in Neuengamme and on the end of the war in Bergen Belsen.
I have all personal data incl. personal numbers about my familly member from Auschwitz and Neugamme. On the end of the war in Bregen -Belsen was a chaos this way not all prisoners were in evidence but I have got information from Neuengamme that he was send in the last days of war to Bergen Belsen.
After his liberation by Brits they gave him those soldiers uniforms.
                  The whole set including:
                  Two jackets.( size44 and 46)
Two pants.(one long and one short witch regular SS buttons)
                  Two soldiers uniforms
                  Hope those detailed pics help.
                  Peter

Please do not use outside hosting sites ! You can upload photos directly to WAF srever ( do not need to be Assocication Memeber anymore to post photos directly WAF server ).

By the way ; why you want to sell the set which belonged to your family member ? It would be saitn relics for me if I had a member of family who survived any german concentration camp.

                      Thanks all for your comments

                      Here are better pics

I am asked 1700 € for it along with various KL related theme books

Making a link bewteen the Serial number and his own researches, the sellers said it is related with a Frenchmen named Sauvage who died April 16 1945 in Buchenwald who match this Serial number ... But who knows if it's right ...

I'm not aware deceased uniforms were send back to inmates family ... in addition all looks pretty unused ...

If there is solid evidence where you can trace its origin then you should have no problem with it, but there would have to be some substantial proof for me to be interested in it personally.

I think i'll only stick to the "material" authenticity to check its value

I will put aside the story going along with because without any strong proof i'll be unable to "lock" the story
On the paperwork, there is papers identifying an other French men who was in Buchenwald too but survived the war. Maybe did the latter came back with an other deceased inmate uniform as a souvenir ... a lot of question unanswered ....
