Eagle on a Zeiss 7x50H model

    Hi all,

Anyone who noticed these 7x50H binoculars listed on ebay? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carl-Zeiss-...7bbe%7Ciid%3A1
Do you guys think the eagle is correct? It's not a typical Zeiss eagle as you can see, but I admit I've ever seen this on another model, so is it correct?

    Best, Yun

Looks like a leitz eagle or Km clock eagle apart from the smooth Swazi wreath
    Here’s two on mine

Maybe it's been "reinstated" or added to a blank plate...

as we all know, there was not only one model of eagle in the various companies.
This eagle is also found on the Kriegsmarine clocks.
There seems to be nothing wrong and it seems to be good to me.
Moreover, as you have also shown us richthofen_117, it is also found on other Zeiss binoculars.

Once again - you're right It's a good eagle but I don't think it's factory applied. They're very rare ( note the centre punch divisions in the wreath) and are found on some Srb and Sty and Hensoldt Dienstglas marked binos (as well as a very few other Zeiss).

Conjecture seems to be some KM agency had them applied but no-one's sure - only that they're WW2 period.

              The eagle is indeed correct.
