Binocular case shoulder strap

Is this the right shoulder strap for the 6x30 bakelite case? The length is about 135 cm/53 inch.

I have never seen such a sewing on an original strap. The way the sewing ends in a "gothic" dome shape is not consistent with normal german army leather items.
To me it looks definitely civilian. Or, at least, not german.

That's the reason why I posted it here, because of the strange sewing. I bought it as an original Wehrmacht strap so if it's not good I want to send it back. But 2 others say it's good so what is it? More opinions are welcome!
