Assistance with new pick up. Zeiss 8x30

I picked up these Carl Zeiss 8x30 binoculars with case today, but I have not been able to find much information. If I’m reading the serial number correctly, they would be a 1941 production. I have not seen a case like this before. Any comments would be appreciated.

Rumanian Army - they also had Zeiss 7x50's and 7x50 Gasmask binos as allies of Germany in WW2. I think Hensoldt also supplied some too.

PS The case could be Eastern Bloc from after 1945
