Help on a pair of Large Carl Zeiss Jena Asembi binoculars

Looking for any information on this pair of unique Zeiss Asembi binoculars. Curious if it is WWI, WWII, Military, Civilian etc.

I am seen other Asembi binoculars that are 12x,20x,40x by 80mm, but this one is larger with 18x,36x,72x magnification and 100mm lens and about 1 meter in length.

Any info would be greatly apprecated.

    Is amazing!
    Are your details correct?
Please exact diameter of the large lenses front (100 mm or 110 mm)?
Please the exact length of the device.

Bay the way - you have private message

It is one of the observation binoculars Zeiss used to put at at strategic spots in the begining of the 2000th century.
In Switzerland, Zermatt, Eigerbahn but also in the US.
Ment as promotion. Probably 110 mm front lens.
      Worth a lot of money.

Indeed Binoswede, looks like an Asaltur. The owner should inform himself prior to selling.

Hi, this is a Zeiss Asaltur 110mm double telescope, made by the Zeiss Astro department at Jena. It was mainly for civilian use. it probably dates from the 1920's or 1930's. This one is in very nice original condition.

Do you have any photos showing the 4 or 5 digit serial number on the prism housing? it would be possible to estimate the date more accurately from this information.

            This forum is fantastic!

Thank you to everyone who provided information. Using that information and doing more research on my part, it the Asaltur 110mm telescope as mentioned.
