Can Anyone Identify this Russian Optic

A friend sent this photo to see if I could identify it. I can't. Anyone know what it is? Thanks in advance.

I do not know the exact type, but it belongs inside a tank. It is the main aiming scope for the main cannon.
Germany had similar types in their late war tanks like the Panther and the tiger.

I would look into the optics of a russian T54. At least that is one place to start.
