      Looks like the same markings on this set of binocs for sale online. I figured it was phony, but I’m hardly an authority.

                The binoculars are real leitz beh 7x50 dienstglas, but the skull,"SS-Dienstglas" and "1691" on the left prism cover were added later, and he did a bad work.

                    Minus the added SS markings, would the set have originally had both the Leitz Wetzlar logo on the left plate and BEH code on the right one? I thought the three letter code was intended to replace the company name entirely.

                      So the left prism cover should be a complete replacement with superfluous markings.
