This rare beauty landed in the collection today. [emoji41]

A very juicy & original Handlampe.

This could be used with the SF14, RK30/41 & a range of other Wehrmacht Optics.

This is for reading maps or for seeing the settings (dials, compass etc) on the optics you were using at night. The light beam is very small so it would make you less of a target if used rather than a full sized flashlight/torch that would be easy to spot from a distance. Think of it as a very fine penlight.

CME = Gegr Wichmann Berlin.

This unit is complete with bulb. The cable is supple with no cracks etc. Even the leather guard at the plug end is still in place.

Mighty happy to add this rare bit of kit to my optics collection.

Just have to rig up my power supply to show it in working order.

Glen when looking for a mounting plate yesterday I was searching through the "it must be in here somewhere "place and came across this one.
Now I know what it might be used for so thank you for the info on it.
( Also came across two electrical leads which have not been seen in a while and like "Bono", "I still haven't found what I'm looking for").

Not a problem Glen, have asked the same myself and as you say always worth a shout.
I think I got this via a swap at some stage but can't remember who or when.
