          No ....

          It's French ZF4 mount for G43 for Indochine .

Assembled by French with leftover original parts .

It's original ,but it's not German mount .

You might tell us how to distinguish between postwar french assemblies and original german production ?

If the frame is greenish, I can better understand, why it may be french postwar.
Orig. germans were not, to my knowledge, greenish.
Please take a look at this magnificent homepage. You may even ask Espeholt what he thinks.

Well, based on the photos, it's difficult to say the exact color of the mount.
Does Claus is a member of this forum?

Only in 1 photo does it appear to have a green tint. So, not sure if it is the lighting. I have phosphate k98ks (my LSR bcd sniper certainly has a green tint) and bayonets which have a green tint and they are completely original and untouched. Sometimes oils over the years change the color of phosphate finishes as well. Nonetheless you can easily recognize the blued parts on this mount.

I can't see any part of this mount which is not original. And I have never heard of ones with a finish applied by the French. "Waa214" is Berlin-Lübecker in Northern Germany, so not in the French zone.

I would love to see the proof of it being a French issue mount for Indochina.

There may be a coat of lacquer on it as well....I do agree however, it looks like a nice unnumbered BLM mount....Bodes
