Late War CXN 7X50 Binoculars.

Added this very nice set to the collection today.

They were a local-ish (Central Canadian Find) nice clear & collimated. Large oculars with the “stepped” objectives.

Steel construction so they are much heavier than the similar RLN 7X50 late war large oculars.

Managed to wedge them into my display cabinet...[emoji41]

I guess I’m going to have to make another trip to ikea or an antique furniture shop.

Nice displays.. The cxn iron bodied they are often referred to aren't that common. They also came in a slightly different case. Their creation was possibly due to only lack if materials ? Hard to say.. Just one more variant of the endless variants of ww2 german hand held binos..
