Voigtländer or Zeiss? 7x50 Fernglas bino

    hello guys.

I got civilian Marine binocular this time, but at the same time I got doubts.....
This binoculars looks made Voigtländer of WW1. However engraved is CARL ZEISS JENA.

    It's binoculars, such like a half-breed....
I want to hear the opinions of everyone.

    made Voigtländer

A lot of post war binos were marked Zeiss to help them sell better.

I think the Zeiss logo is original.
The binoculars are most likely a voigtländer.

My guess would be that someone has replaced the Voigtländer marking plate with an original Zeiss plate with Zeiss markings.
Like Sgt Bilko says, Zeiss sells better.

It's nicely done but compare it to one of your own and you'll see the subtle differences...

Sgt Bilko. You are right, and I am wrong. I did not look closely at it. My mistake.

It is not an original Zeiss engraving.
