    Monocular 10x60

Could you give me anybody more detail info about this optics below? It is a German, but it was used by Czechoslovak Army as marks and descriptions are in Czech. I think, that it could be part of Kinothedolite. Link is below.

You're right - part of a kine theodolite. One knob moves a reticle in and out and the other brings filters to bear. It can be illuminated and the little protrusions on the sides act as peep sights. My big ones is 12x60 (I think) but I have a smaller one too.

Somewhere, in a dark storage room, I suspect a large number of "earless" Kinotheodolites are dwelving... awaiting their rebirth.
After so many years since so many roaming marauders only managed to wrestle off their ears, rather than bring them along, whole.

There must be a reason why everyone has the small monoculars, and so few have the whole units.
I suppose the average GI did not have the option, or maybe, the desire, to ship home a 200 pound rocket observation instrument.

I have heard of some ingenious american officers, who got a lot of brand new german road engineering and road paving equipment shipped back home on government ships.
Eventually, they were found out and dishonourably discharged from the army.
They later had great careers in road constructing and road paving at moderate prices in the US midwest.
