Just found in an estate sale Here in italy

It Was used only for mortars?

No problem. The RK 31 was used for indirect firing so it could be used for all manner of weapons from MG to large caliber guns.

If you get it let me know. I need a second for one in my collection. [emoji41]

Richtkreis 31 is german aiming circle = an instrument for measuring horizontal and vertical angles and magnetic azimuths in determining weapon and target position and in military reconnaissance and mapping.
