TBF2 revival

Hello folks,

I had for some years a TBF2 hulk, missing all the optical parts.
I cleaned it and restored the rotating mechanism, stuck by dried grease.
Came 2 years ago on a spare head for it.

Last week, I obtained the missing optics. Needs of course some cleaning, but I can at last see through it
Now have to decide: keep it green, dunkelgelb or both ?
And of course looking for the missing bits: side fasteners, headrest holder, adjusting mechanism for the head mirror inclination, ...

Nice project I would keep in both colours, for the moment. You never know, you might find the missing parts in the right colour. Good luck!

What should it look like complete? If I came across the missing parts I would be able to identify them for you.

I have to agree with Carles.

Keep it two tone. Even though it’s an item that has been built up from parts it’s showing original colours. As a collector I would rather have it like that in my collection.

I would agree keep it as it is do not repaint it, congratulations on taking this project so far , top result.

Carles, I think there are already some TBF2 pictures on the forum, but can't find them yet.
