    PZO 6x30 for Navy?

    Hello.

I have Polish binoculars with an unusual marking. On the left cover, where usually stand letters WP (Polish Army), there is a marking in the form of an anchor in the circle and letters (M.W. NAW.).

I have not seen such markings before. Is it a military binocular for the Polish Navy?
Please help to decipher these letters (M.W. NAW.).

I envy you Buddy- I've been after a Polish Navy binocular for years. Of those who escaped in 1939, many were based in my home port so you'd think there'd be one locally but no luck so far....

Thank you all for the comments.

What do you think about the letters (M.W. NAW.)? What do they mean?

MW most likely means Wojsko Marine. something like Navy defense, or Navy service. In short, Polands Navy.

NAW ? probably the procuring office, or agency.

Interesting thread. A friend of mine was offered a set of these and
that's the conclusion we came up with. Navy or coastal
defense. I guess all were confiscated in 1939. Polish navy couldn't of been that large.
