North Korean 8x30 Real or Fake?

Real or fake? I am just very curious, couldn't find much info online. Thank you!

I've not seen one before but I'd say it looks good - it has a rugged Soviet look to it.

Unfortunately so far I have found only one similar example online, no detailed info. Possibly a Soviet made with North Korean label?

I had a pair with the same vulcanite. Russian. Date wise 50's. So period right. But oculars on mine were the soft bakelite type. Very different to these.
        Like these ones.

The oculars are very fragile. These look to have been replaced maybe?
Or were they just a different type?

different. The one you showed is a refurbished Russian B6x30 (refurbished in 1963).

The North Korean one is 8x30, it may be a clone of Soviet B8x30 or just made by the Soviets with Korean label? (I don't know).

If your oculars are very fragile, they may be war-time made silumin oculars. They are commonly found on late war KMZ, KOMZ, and ZOMZ 6x30 binoculars.
