2017 Additions

Got this nice RUNDBLICKFERROHR F 36 in just under the wire for 2017.

Its a we bit tatty & needing some attention....but price was too good to pass up.

ESO = Optisch Werke G. Rodenstock, Munich

Now to track down the storage case, the rubber eye cup & the accessories.......[emoji848]

Is anyone remaking the rubber eye cups for these units?? I see them for scopes etc.

2017 , I finally managed to corner a 8x60 slim at a reasonable price. Eye cups replaced and a period rainguard added , will get it cleaned and serviced in the New year as it is one I want to use again. (They make expensive ornaments . ).
The set came from e-stand .

My other satisfying 2017 buy was a Ross 10x80 which was in excellent order - come january it will be mated to a flakglas mount , not what it was designed for but the best way of having it on a solid tripod.

Although allied to optics a sextant (kriegsmarine) was my other long awaited optical tick of a list.

I got something too. Not quite WWII, but still nice. WWI Voigtlander 7x50 navy with case.

Seen a number of the Voigtlander binoculars but never a case and matching!!!!!

Just a little twist & I added this today...along with a tidy little display stand to boot.
