If anyone feels the urge to buy click on this link and watch until the end and do take the advice offered by "Honey Bunny". It describes the price well and if anyone dares pay it , HB will be calling to carry out her threat !.

I didn´t know Honeybunny was the nemesis of perverted Bino collectors ?
Apart from the gun thing, she looks like someone who needs a hug. Which she, as far as I recall, eventually get´s in the end.
To buy this bino, I rather have that nice suitcase with the green light in it.
( I take it you know the movie )

Besides, a seller can quote any price his heart desires.

I don´t have to understand why. Weird situations can come from such pricings, though. I doubt I am the only one, who has been negotiating prices, only to realise, I was in hundreds, and the seller worked with thousands. Awkward situation.

Or, as when one acquaintance of mine sold a large lot of old military stuff to a swiss dealer.. After negotiations was concluded, and a price was agreed upon, the swiss dealer asked: And what is the exchange rate from Danish crowns to swiss francs.
My friend caught it in the nick of time, and calmly got the rate from a newspaper.
Turned out they had never been on the same page in those negotiations. So, sale price was mulitiplied by 4.5 and the swiss dealer went home, satisfied with his purchase.

        Price levels are weird.

Have the top prism plates been swapped-around then? - is this the reason why the seller has picked such a high price?

....or has he merely weighed them, and calculated their weight in Gold?

It can´t be the gold weight. Gold prices dropped about 10% last week.

            I just realised something. If I wanted attention, I would list a 6x30 for $ 4500.-
            Everyone would talk about it.
