CXN 10 x 50 binoculars with 'non' tapered objective lenses?

Thought these where meant to have tapered objectives?

Thoughts appreciated, thanks in advance.

This set is also very heavy in weight.

Further to Benutzer's comments, cxn 10 x 50 binos were issued in two different types:

1. I have recorded the earlier type with tapered barrels in the following serial range: 350XXX - 365XXX; and

2. I have also recorded the later stepped barrel variant in the following serial range: 365XXX - 461XXX.

The binos that you post fall well within the earlier serial sequence.

Yours are the tapered barrel version. The later version had stepped barrels.
