The example you mention, as I am sure you know, is a French fake.
There are only three known examples of the one currently for sale (or four including this one) and I would say that 100 were made (not 50). Still extremely rare.

The price is still high.
I have seen another Zeiss only made in 50 examples. 4 known, (to me) and one sold this spring at an auction in Germany for appr. £ 600.-
Arguably not quite so desirable as this model, and may not have reached a proper price level. Still, a factor 8 cheaper. Beside, also in way better condition.
It can be interesting to see if this one sells. The Telefortem sold a couple of years back at a local auction in Germany was much cheaper.Comment
