    nead help on Bigg unknown binoculars

    Hello..

    Gott this one her in Norway.. Seller told me it´s coming from a lokal smal costal fort from WW2.

    I newer seen aneything like it, so anney help on this one is mostly appreciated

    (1,5 L Coke botle just to indicate the sice)

        I'd say they have used some original parts to rebuilt or recreate a D.F.10x80 flakglass. Most of the body parts are just not original. IMHO:

          Yes - it looks like a hobbyist has used various optical parts for a nice project.

          I had one that used 10x80 parts in a home made alum body - good for parts or to use on the night sky

              Interesting object.

              What is the diameter of the front lens ?

              My guess is that it is built of the remains of an Schneider 25x105.

              The oculars and the objective-barells looks very much the same as on the early version of this binocular.

                    Funny item, but either keep it as a curiosity or as spare parts.

                    Shouldn´t run very high in price, imho.
