Artillery observer optic device

Please help to identify this optic device that this observer looks through. What was German name of this device?

I think the observer is using a "Stangen-Fernrohr". Zeiss made a 60cm model with the specification 10x40, it can be a good guess.
It is not a rangfinder. It is a binocular.

I think this is a device you're looking for.


We are still using them in the finnish army.
It is really easy to use!

This is the one I was using:
1. Eagle 2. Optics
3. Carl Zeiss 4. End of the tube
I think my tube was dated 1938...
