6x30 ddx tan - good or repainted

That is not easy because there are some repainted ddx binoculars in this number range.
In my opinion the paint should be original.
Your binocular is one of the first (early) which were painted in sand colour.

In my opinion the binos that you post are finished in original paint. The body and bridge of early tan painted ddx binos were painted in rough lacquer with what looks like sand added. The ocular covers and object covers and screw heads were finished in smooth flat tan lacquer. The example I attach is close to your serial number with a similar finish.
