    Faked KM Binos on Ebay?

Another faked KM Binos on Ebay.

Someone seems to have snapped them up. I have one of the Benutzers (on a genuine but tampered with blc 7x50) and it even smells brand new!

Good to keep the rain off the oculars though - and less likely to chip than Baklelite. And always good for a laugh!

Yeah, well he's got 14 days to see whether/not buyer's remorse sets in......In fairness to the seller though, he did say they were "restored".....Bodes

The seller must have a lawer consultant...
His wordings make him always looking very clean..even if he sells big BS..
          Is that our new world?
sorry but no excuses to these conmaen and Mathafakas. (ops sorry!)
Thanks to all of you...you are great!

Maybe not such a good lawyer - as previously mentioned, it can be returned within 14 days for a refund. And even if the seller had stated "No Returns", a Paypal claim (for any problem whether about originality or optical qualities) would always side with the buyer.
And let's face it - it can be both 10x50 and a DF7x50!

We can only hope the buyer sees these posts and gets a refund quick...

OK, fair enough...but a fake anyway...
At least the (maybe overseas) buyer will have to pay for customs and others...since Paypal only refunds the binos and maybe shipping...all others (import tax, customs duties, handling fees)...not.
              Long life to Paypal..!

The chances are that if someone's bought them, they'll think they're fine. Maybe they'll never find out? Many dodgy binos are sold on Ebay that never see the light of day again....

I believe you all when you say that they are fake, but how do you see it?

Is it just experience in seeing old objects or something specific about these binoculars?

The fact that the Eagle etc is so clumsily executed, the fact that they're DF7x50 yet marked on the other side 10x50, the crappy Benutzer / raincover - I have an identical one and it still smells newly made - the list goes on.

But beneath it all a nice binocular trying to get out...

People (well, certain ones anyway) tend to salivate and lose their minds whenever they see a kriegsadler. It could be on a roll of toilet paper and they would shell out thousands of euro (or yuan) just to have it....

                        ...makes one wonder.

                          km faked bino

you hit it right on the head there, as soon as they see the km eagle all sense goes out the window for some people, it must be real, they couldn't fake that etc ,they are blinded to the binocular itself, disregarding all other markings
