help with barn find please

i hope someone can help me with information regarding a find in grandfathers garage
i unearthed some german binoculars with a badge that says
DF 10X80 M.SCHR EINBL 20*
there is a small badge underneath with the number 216301
i dont think this is complete as a sight looks like it should be there
it is fitted to a made up wooden stand.
it was very dirty but i cleaned it with a damp cloth and its not to bad
any info would be great. is it worth keeping?
the site tells me i cant send attachments so no photos

It is certainly worth keeping. To post pics you should either become a full Association member by paying a about 20$ (so could post directly) or link the pics from other server (photobox or other).

Try google: Zeiss 10x80
Choose images, and see if you can find similar binoculars.


Definitely a find.

Congrat´s are in place.

And please, do not take it apart. It is VERY hard to re-assemble.
( read: impossible, except for skilled personel )
