I want to show you my 2 tan 6x30 binoculars.

Left the "cag" and right the "ddx".

Please notice the button straps, the one to the right is quite hard to find.

Thanks for that Stengaard. I imagine it's rarity is the reason for it's fairly high price. I have a WW1 Hensoldt 6x30 which has the thin strip button flap fixed onto the leather raincover and at the other end a big hole with a slot for going around the hinge tightening nut. I wonder if different makers used differing designs of these accessories?

I should add that the WW1 Hensoldt 6x30 with the case and buttonflap / raincover cost half the price of The Collector's Guild flap. And it's great to look through!
