How do you use the gradiants on a pair of 6x30 binos

I have a wartime pair of hungarian 6x30 binos the right lense has gradations in it that go from 1 out to 7 in a cross hair pattern. Can anyone tell me how to use them and what they represent.
    Thanks

    Most likely, they are centigrades.

This means they can be used for rangefinding.

If you look at something that is 2 meter high, like a soldier/man.
And that covers exactly one interval in your binocular, then you know he is 500 meters away.

Does his height correspond with 2 divisions, then he is 250 meters away.

I don´t know exactly how hungarian bino´s are divided.
But the principle is rangefinding for something with a known lenght.

Some countries, use 6300, others 6400 or 6500.

Basic divisions means 1 meter at 1000 meters distance.
The differences between 63-64-6500 can be ignored.
