panzer scope? value?

Hello forum

I was told this came off a panzer in North Africa.

any idea if it came off a tank, or is it some other field optics?

the guy wants $500 bucks plus shipping for it..

Those were used on Stugs like the Stuk III.
Here in Europe costs about 450 dollars, so the price is reasonable.

Forget the North Africa crap, it's just painted dunkelgelb which the Germans used on all equipment post 1943. As Nick say's it's the main gunsight from a StuG or Hetzer. Price is about right although it's missing the brow pad and rubber eye cup.
