    F.K.16 German Gun Sight

I would be grateful for any information regarding this Gun Sight, especially the Weapon it was used on and the time frame. It is in good overall condition, some missing paint, but the optics are fine. I do not know if it is scarce or not, I have owned it for a long time, but know little about it. Any advice much appreciated, regards, Clive.

WW1 standard Rundblickfernrohr for the 7,7 cm Feld Kanone mod. 1916 (FK 16).

Commonly seen model of panoramic scope for that period.

                            Hi seebee 1,
I also have a C.P.Goerz,Berlin sight that is identical to yours .
                            Mine is serial number 97601 . Where yours has markings "F.K.16 L8790 A " mine is electropencilled " L8098 - 1917"
I do not know what the "L 8098" signifies but I think 1917 is the year of manufacture?
