    Hi Seeadler,
later models of Deltrintem come up for sale frequently on Ebay. What is the serial number? This will be on the bottom hinge cover. If the binoculars are in good working order Ebay pricing is between E80-180 .The case would sell for E80-100.

That is true, but civilian center focus binoculars were often carried by German officers as they had the option of using private purchased equipment that met a general military specification. I do not know if center focus were officially permitted, but photos can be found of them being used.

            Hi Seeadler,
your binocs acording to CZ serial numbers and production records certainly places it is the 1930 period. I have a 8x30 Deltrintem that was made about 1938 and I bought this from France

              centre focus

I have read that in Germany before and during the war at sporting events binoculars were sometimes gathered up ( volunteered or confiscated ?) from spectators for the war cause . However most pre war examples of Deltrintem on the market today seem to have been hidden away and show no evidence of much usage.

I know...this is not military binoculars but...

My grandfather was one of the partisan war commanders and this binos it is his war trophy, as well as other Blc 7 x 50 from 1942.

I also have my grandfather war photo wit his CZ 7 x 50 during war.
