Hi guys

I want to show you my Scherenfernrohr wich I bought few days from ebay - seller wants for it 650E - but I paid 350, I think it is reasonable price.
It has some minor damages like one eye cup broken, one of two sunlight cover lost and bullet hole - wich IMHO is lovely add to this eqsample

It is full working, and it has a lot of original paint.

Yeah, I saw that one, too, was concerned about the bullet penetration. Does it cause any aberration in the light path due to intrusion of light into the hole?

hole in the tube has no effect on the image seen through binoculars.

there is some kind of aiming instrument on left "ear"
could you tell me for what is this ?

Is the bracket part of the frame for a face pad? I am guessing here because it is not the standard fitting for a face pad bracket...It is in the right location for this bracket.
be a good idea to tape up the schrapnel/bullet hole to minimise entry of dust and moisture onto the prism assemblies below and the objective lens assembly above
