Strange MG scope recticle illumination battery box

Can you give me some tips about this Mg battery box? It differs from the usually known by having a strange attaching device - instead of a metal sheet loop it has some strange stud. It is original as is painted the same way. Is it some variation? Or maybe it is designed for something else than the MG tripod?

These kind of battery boxes are not only for MG tripods but for most of the field optics. I didn't know this variant. It might be for some special mount. Looks nice, could you show more of it?

Thanks for your reply. Any idea what could this be attached to? It seems it would fit some fork-split hook or loop? me6 130 - what part are you interested in? The rest of the box is exactly as a battery illumanating box should look?
