Hi Josef, I attach a link to a Ru SF (scissor binoculars). Is this what you are asking about?

Thanks guys but I have a line on an original pair and the tripod. I'm negotiating with the seller now. If I land it, I'll ask someone to post it here for me.
It's a bit pricey but it's in great shape. How difficult is it to find accessories for it like the screw on horizontal sun shades and the tree mounting bracket?

I had one a few years ago, terrible shape, no tripod and cracked lens
I was surprised to get over $400 on ebay for it
I saw a complete set at the SOS in 2002, with tripod, wooden box(!) AND sun shades for $1000. I couldn't afford it at the time, but it keeps me awake at night now!
I've never seen another one with sun shades ever
I'd still like one one day.....
in fact, I REALLY want one again after reading this thread!
regards
jon
