    What do I have here?

I got this on the gun show today. It came in leather pouch. I do not collect optics so any help would be appreciated. And what would be the value of this?

    thank you for looking.

    regards Rajko

              Hi rajko84,
its a sighting monocular and is part of a Blinkgerat ( German signalling apparatus )
This appears to be made at the end of WW1
              see page 178-179 Hans Seegar.

WW1 German Sighting monoculars are not high on most collectors lists so I'd give it about US$50.
In passing ,a German army WW2 Zeiss /rln (purpose built monocular) readily sells in the US$160+ range

What was this used for? And on what?
