Opinions - MG34 range finder EM34 ‘Entfernungsmesser 34’

Just received these pics of this nice EM 34 range finder from a potential seller who responded to my ad. I know nothing about these. I did perform a WAF search and found many useless posts with deleted pics and no real info about their value. I can't seem to find one on any dealer's site either.

Just wondering where the heck I start with the seller. Any idea of a ballpark value on this thing?

A friend of mine had exactly the same one, he sold it 3 years ago for 350 Euros.

On ebay you can see similar to this which ends at 300-350 euro. With wooden case over 400-500.
