BINOS 6x30 FOR INFORMATIONS

i d like to know who used this kind of binos ...
is it realy used in the army ?

They look like Voightlander "Labyrinth glasses" ( because of the construction), a very rare German WW2 Dienstglas in 6x30. Unfortenatly, yours are painted black. Original, they were olive drab ( green) with brown bakelite eyecups. If original, you should see V.B. marking in rised letters on the top bridge. ( Voightlander Braunschweig).

Nice pair, I have never seen them black and suspect they are painted. Mine is green and so are other known examples. If the paint looks to be period, leave them as is, could be original. Anyway, nice hard to get binos.

Rare variation Zav! I do agree they look like repaints and extremely well-done as well. I have yet to see even a stone mint unsed pair which didn't exhibit some signs of wear.
