    Are these WWII binoculars

Can anyone tell me if these are WWII. The case looks like it has a date of 43' on the top and bottom and seem to be made of bakelite. The glasses have no markings other than whats on the backside of them.

              Hello,
What you've gpt here is a pair of WWII german 6x30 binos with bakelite carrier. they were made by cxn : Busch A.G, Emil, Optische Indusrie, Rathenow.
Too bad they don't have their rainguard and buttonable piece or at least their carrying strap...also too bad the belt loops on the carrier were cut off. At least, you can use a carrying strap for the carrier, despite its issueing was discontinued in 1941.

v interesting re 1941 cut-off Bakelite case issue date. i like the biscuit brown colour too, are these slightly rarer than black?the straps on the back can be replaced, once the rivet heads have been ground down, so dont give out hope. good leather and a skilled craftsman will allow you to have them hanging on your belt again-if thats your thing. strap, fob and lens covers can also be bought if you want to pimp your bins.
