        Carring case ??

Also by some miracle, does anyone have the proper carring case ???

It is marked on the left turrent "Carl Zeiss Jena" and "DRP". On the Right Turrent it is marked " Marine Glas /m.Revolver " and " Vergr.= 5 & 10 ". On each turrent is 2 eyepieces, I assume one is 5 power, and the other 10 power.

These binoculars are in excellent condition, with original neck strap. brass showing on high spots from normal light use.,

It seems I found some info on this binocular. It is an 1896 design, probably manufactured before 1904 as the Zeiss name is not the in the lens logo.

Click the picture of the binocular at this link, and you get some info. I guess this should be moved to an Imperial German thread.
