blc 10x50 saved from landfill

These blc 10x50 were picked up today from my local tip, I noticed them in some boxes just before they were going to be thrown into a skip for landfill !, nice early serial number 16011, what else is lost to landfill I wonder ?

good catch, my local tips are on standby for anything old and cameras etc never get much though.
