    LW gun camera?

Just recently aquired this electric camera, but have been unable to find any useful information about it! There must be some label missing, but I can't figure out where it was. It is manufactured by Siemens, runs on 36-40 Volts, is loaded with casettes of 16mm. The instrument on top is a lamp with optical lense in front. The only place I can find FL numbers are on the socket and stecker.
It has two big wing nuts on brackets (one is missing the mounting screws). The lamp is adjustable with wing nuts marked "M" (classical German WW2 marking for wingnuts). Everything is made of lightweight alloys. The camera can obviously be mounted in different configurations, as there was both a normal trumpet and a mirror to mount in front of the lense with it. There was also an extra lense and a unopened roll of film with it. I would have guessed it was a gun camera, but the lamp and missing markings makes no sense! Any ideas from the LW experts?

This IS a LW gun camera, generally mounted in the wing. I've got one exactly like it.

The serial number on the lens dates it (the lens at least) to between September 1939 and June 1942. Probably early 1942, as it's very close to the end of that range of numbers.
