my grandfather gave me these before he died..he fought on the Russian Front and he took these from his commanding officer after he(commanding officer) made him get rid of his coffee rations that he was sending back home..I thought they where 1940ish issue but then i found a similar pair in Peter Senichs Sniper Book....i wish i had the case and tool that goes with them..they are in excellent condition...what do you guys think?

Does anyone know Peter Senich?..maybe we could ask him if its a typo..or if they where also made in different magnification specs.
