    Rabbit ear bino

    Hi

    I could buy this one but is it a 100% German wartime pice?
    Couldnt find any markings on the bino.
    Maybe repainted?

    And whats the value?

    Any opinions?

          Buy it! Binocular looks good. Paint rather original. Something messed with eye cups and bottom plates. Any markings should be on bottom plates. The most important is original carrying box. It is in good condition and is hard to come by.

                    Who could that manufactur be?

                      probably the frn 41 is on the closing latch (which is the same as on gasmask cannisters.

                        Yes thats right its on the closing latch.

                        I have a bino case with "frn 44" marking on the latch.

                        But the question is still who is the maker?

                          Box looks good IMO, strange that there are no markings on the Donkey-ears....

                            These binoculars are made in Germany but they could be produced for Finish Army or Wehrmacht. It is very important to find markings. If you will see “SA” (as in my picture) that means Wehrmacht did not used them. Many of these SF14z are coming from Norway (left by surrendering German troops).
