They look like their alright but what about the case?

Are they worth ??? $800.

it's all original and typical for LEITZ that the case is in bad condition, by 9 of 10 cases the straps are broken.
By the normal way there are 4 sunshadows and two rubber eye pices inside the case, if yes the price is ok, if not try to get it for 700 USD.
This bino is navy but only for coast units.

The rubber eye cups are nearly always missing - it is very rare to see them with the case - almost all war time photos show these sets being used without the rubber eye cups being in place.
The rainguard is there its leather covering is intact , if the binocular coverings are in as good order I think set wise you have a good option here.
The case - I agree it is in moderate condition , the broken straps , lack of shoulder strap and the clip on the front being missing all detract from it
( It is difficult to judge from the photos but it looks like a replacement strap to me ).

Most importantly the set - if optically it is in good nick - prisms and lens are okay it is not at all bad - the rainguard being present is a big plus.
Paint wise the set looks to be in better than average condition.
