    Strange sniper scope box

    Came across this box at a gun show, guy didn't know what it's for, neither do I. It has a 1943 and an inspector mark WaA580 stamped in the back. Any ideas?

    This box contained small periscope, attached to Richtkreis 31, optical, plotting device.

      PZO is right, it belongs to the Richtkreis 31, it is the pouch for the optical, plotting device..
