        Hello,

        Some info from Belgiun.

I think it is a par of an Entfernungsmesser Em 0.9mr.

You can send me a e-mail and I send you some picture’s of mine.

If you sell it I’m interested because I'm missing this part.

          David -
I think you're correct. It is the directional azimuth assembly for the rabbit-ear type optics of the Em 0,9R Good job!

It's very close, including the matching blc manufacturer, but not 100% exact from this one from pictures at paul's tiger website (the part outlined in red):

          and opposite side:

The part at the top seems to have a different shaped base. These were supplied as equipment on the early/mid-model Tiger I tanks, so it might be a base designed for vehicles and not for tripods as above. Can't tell without looking underneath at the mounting assembly for sure. And I've NEVER seen them in use by tank commanders in any case, only the usual SF 14Z Gi types seem to show up in photographs..I've learned that many armoured unit commanders didn't like these 0,9s in the field...very hard to train users on it...I understand they quit manufacturing them about 1943. Wonderous piece of equipment, though, wish I had one
