KM 10x80 questions

Hi guys
Not really an optics guy, but bought this piece and have some questions.
Heres what I know, Its a 10x80 for the Kriegsmarine, its missing half the rubber for the eye pieces. What else can you guys tell me about it like the stenciled writing as far as what that relates to, and also what parts if any am I missing? Paint original?
These aren't my photos, so if better photos are needed, I'll post when it arrives

Probably for a Scheinwerfer Richt Gerät C40 (Sch. R. G. C40)

Search light command instrument.

2 of these bino´s were on top. One for vertical and the other for horisontal orientation.
This one is marked: Höhe = height which means it was the one used for the vertical pointing.


C40 is Construction 40. Basically meaning modell 1940.

Paint is probably original with the stencilled text still visible.
Front parts, with splash guards and lids are missing. Same is the front top sight.

Googling: kriegsmarine 10x80 20 will give you plenty of images of complete bino´s of this type

The front sight should not be too difficult to replicate, just laborious.
The rubber face rest frame and rest itself too.
I see it still retains the lower ‘attachment’. Nice!

I hope it is in good working order internally. Fabulous piece.
If I may ask, how much did you get it for?

Will you send it to be internally ‘fixed’?
