Strange Presstoff 6x30 binocular case + binocular. Helps needed

can someone help me with this piece ? It looks like some end war ersatz made case for 6x30 but all is about 1/5 lower then clasic 6x30 bino and clasic army piece do not fit here. Case is made from presstoff, same and belt, but any marks here. Strange is clasp which comes from german helmet chinstrap, but all is original made. Maybe some close post war made item ? Thanks all

Not being an expert...I guess you are right, looks like a civi set, most possibly post war made with WWII period material.
