I agree. It ought to sport a Carl Zeiss Logo as well. There are several different versions of these indian "things" out on the web.

This "must be rare" junk has still ( unsurprisingly) failed to tempt someone....... ,

              These things do find buyers...

2 years ago, I was offered a "collection" of medals someone had been "lucky" enough to "find" in Poland. Including the rare blue enamel swastica breast star we all want so badly. ( You go on the web to find it if you like. I have also seen yellow enamel versions)

The seller had taken the collection in a swap trade, and now wanted to sell.
I failed at making him realise it was all fakes. I suppose the amount of money he had at stake made it even harder for him to accept the fact.

I am pretty sure, he didn´t try to con me. He genuinly believed the pile of junk was originals.

So, as long as such items are out there, they will, occassionally, find buyers.

So very true, they are present as the quite awful and passably presentable more often it is the latter which snag people, I learnt this two years ago do not let your eyes rule your head, what is obvious to someone who has knowledge can so easily be missed by those who do not.
Unless you are 100% sure keep your hand in your pocket.
Faked markings and tall stories = "smoke and mirrors".

Now relisted with a £1300 odd drop in price, says it all.
