Hi,
What do you knowledgeable folk know of the use of red paint text on the KG13A ?
Meaning and when painted on ?
http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...=902867&page=2 has the remnants of such at top,
A recent stick sold at $4999 with sort of provenance Viterbo Airport June 1944 Me109 being one of several possible aircraft had such all over .
https://axis-militaria.com/product/w...-me109-v-rare/
as does the one for sale on ebay at the moment (KG13A Luftwaffe control column stick Me109 Bf109 Steuerknüppel Steuersäule) which matches the numbering etc on that last one except V21 not V23.

B1 Kn on both at top facing upward , B2-K (cant see last character) on side button, P128 on side face at top on both, FT-Kn on both just above the lower push button, what are these meaning ? All buttons have red paint I presume the P128 refers to the button the flip over arm operates when flipped forward and down.
What is the V number though ?
If painted on at unit (Staffel) level then maybe both came from the same unit ? Not all sticks seen have the red paint but its shade of red seems the same on those with it, painted on by hand without stencil.
Cheers
