Lw Tropical shoulder boards

I was offered this pair of tropical shoulder boards.

The seller gives money back guaranty on authenticity.
But... I am not sure. I never handled Lw tropical boards until now.

Any advise?

While the Luftwaffe did produce tropical shoulder straps with this type of button hole, the squarish tongue on these is very odd and the piping looks fake to me. The construction on these is poor and the yellow looks more like lemon yellow rather than the golden yellow it should be. I would look for an obviously original set (which these certainly are not).

Poor quality fakes. Construction, fabric, and piping.

As I have pointed out on other fakes, note the bogus button impressions.
